Lectrotab Smart Tabs SX

Lectrotab Smart Tabs SX are automatic boat trim tabs. They are molded from composite material, so they don't rust or corrode. They adjust to boat speed and water conditions without electric or hydraulic hardware, switches or operator input. They are meant to help the boat get on plane sooner, ride more level, and handle better.

Key Features:

• Fully automatic operation: the trim plates self-adjust to boat speed, load and water conditions, so there are no switches to operate.
• Nitrogen gas-filled actuators: these hold the trim plates down during acceleration and provide lift at the stern. The amount of lift depends on the actuator load rating and the plate adjustment made at installation.
• Molded composite construction: it doesn't rust or corrode and needs no maintenance in fresh or salt water.
• Tracking ribs: these help handling and stability at higher speeds.
• Tunable setup: the system can be tuned to get the most performance from a power boat.
• Simple installation: assembly takes seconds and installation takes a few minutes. The basic tools are a drill and a Phillips screwdriver.

Performance Benefits:

• Lower minimum planing speed and quicker acceleration
• Less bow rise and a more level, comfortable ride at lower speeds
• Less porpoising, sliding and chine walking
• Better fuel economy, handling and safety

Smart Tabs SX keep the automatic operation of the original Lectrotab Smart Tabs. They add the corrosion-free durability of composite construction, which makes them a low-maintenance trim tab choice for many power boats.
