Chemtex Oil Absorbent Pads

Chemtex Oil Absorbent Pads are oil-only sorbent pads, also called oil-only absorbent mats or meltblown sorbent pads. They are made for fast cleanup of oil, fuel and other petroleum-based spills. The pads are made from meltblown polypropylene. The fibers are left in their natural hydrophobic state, so the pads absorb hydrocarbons and repel water.

Key Features:

• Oil-only absorption: picks up oil, gasoline, diesel and other petroleum-based fluids while shedding water
• Meltblown polypropylene construction: open fibers give a large surface area for quick absorption
• Works on land and water: suited to marine, outdoor and indoor spills and overspray, and the pads can be used on the surface of water
• Bright white color: makes it easy to see when a pad is saturated
• Economical and versatile: a low-cost option for shops, garages, marinas, job sites and environmental response kits

Use these pads to wipe up drips, leaks and spills around engines, equipment, workshop floors and bilges. They are intended for short-term spill response and absorb on contact.
