Seachoice Yellow Heat Shrink Tubing

Seachoice Yellow Heat Shrink Tubing is marine-grade, adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing (also called heat shrink wrap or heat shrinkable sleeving). It protects and seals wire and cable connections on boats and in other demanding environments. The flexible polyolefin tubing has a 3:1 shrink ratio and a built-in adhesive liner. Once installed, it forms a complete environmental seal.

Key Features:

• Marine-grade polyolefin construction: flexible, heat-shrinkable tubing made for marine use.
• 3:1 shrink ratio: shrinks to about one-third of its original diameter for a tight, secure fit over splices, terminals and irregular shapes.
• Adhesive liner: the internal sealant melts and flows during heating. It bonds to the wire and helps keep moisture out.
• Environmental seal: helps prevent corrosion, improves electrical insulation and increases abrasion resistance.
• Flame retardant: adds a layer of safety for wiring applications.
• Wide temperature range: rated for operating temperatures from -55°C to 110°C.

Use it to seal wire splices and terminal connections, repair damaged insulation and protect cable ends. Slide the tubing over the connection and apply heat until it shrinks and the adhesive flows. It is a practical choice for marine electrical work and for general automotive and utility wiring repairs. Seachoice offers it in multiple sizes.
