Bussmann Type I ATC Automotive Circuit Breaker

The Bussmann Type I ATC automotive circuit breaker is a resettable circuit protection device. It is also known as a blade-style circuit breaker or ATC breaker. It protects vehicle wiring and electrical accessories from overcurrent and short-circuit conditions. It fits standard ATC blade fuse holders and fuse blocks, so it can replace a blade fuse where resettable protection is wanted.

Key Features:

• Type I automatic reset design: The breaker trips when current exceeds its rating. It then resets on its own once the fault clears or the circuit cools, so you don't have to replace a blown fuse.
• ATC blade terminal format: It plugs into standard ATC-style fuse panels and holders, with no rewiring needed.
• Reusable protection: It can be used again after each trip, which makes it useful for circuits that may see occasional overloads.
• Bussmann quality: Bussmann is a long-established name in circuit protection. The breaker is built for automotive, marine, RV, and other low-voltage DC electrical systems.

It is a good choice for lighting, audio, accessory, and auxiliary circuits where a resettable breaker is more convenient than a one-time fuse. Each variant in this product line has a different amperage rating. Choose the rating that matches the circuit's wire gauge and load requirements.
