Lectrotab Smart Tab SX Composite Trim Tabs

Lectrotab Smart Tab SX composite trim tabs are fully automatic boat trim tabs and stabilizers. They need no operator input, electric switches or hydraulic controls while you are underway. The SX series has all the automatic features of the original Lectrotab Smart Tabs. It adds the rust-free, corrosion-free benefits of molded composite construction.

Key Features:

• Fully automatic operation: The tabs adjust to boat speed, balance and water conditions without operator adjustment.
• Faster planing: They help reduce minimum planing speed by up to 33%. They also help limit bow rise and give quicker acceleration.
• Better ride and efficiency: They give a more level, comfortable ride at lower speeds. They also improve handling, safety and fuel economy.
• Nitrogen gas actuator: It holds the trim plate down during acceleration to lift the stern. The amount of lift depends on the actuator load rating and the trim plate adjustment made at installation.
• Tracking ribs: The ribs improve handling at higher speeds.
• Molded composite construction: The tabs need no maintenance in fresh or salt water.
• Tunable: The system can be tuned to the performance of your power boat.
• Simple installation: Assembly takes seconds. Installation needs only basic hand tools such as a drill and a Phillips screwdriver. Mounting hardware, instructions and templates are included.

Smart Tab SX trim tabs help you correct sliding, porpoising and chine walking. They also help the boat get on plane sooner, with no added controls to operate. They are a low-maintenance upgrade over manual trim tab systems for power boats.
