Ancor Marine Grade Heat Shrink Ring Terminals

Ancor Marine Grade heat shrink ring terminals (also called adhesive-lined heat shrink ring connectors) make sealed, corrosion-resistant wire connections in boats and other harsh, wet environments. Each terminal combines a tinned copper ring barrel with adhesive-lined heat shrink tubing. When heated, the tubing shrinks to seal the connection against moisture.

Key Features:

• Adhesive-lined heat shrink sleeve: The heat-activated adhesive forms a watertight seal and gives strong strain relief.
• Cross-linked polyolefin tubing: It is stronger than PVC tubing and does not burn like PVC.
• Tinned copper construction: It conducts current well and resists corrosion.
• Nylon insulator: It resists sunlight, water, oil, chemicals, vibration and cut-through damage.
• High shrink ratio: The tubing shrinks to one-third of its original size at 257°F (125°C).
• Temperature range: The operating range is -40°C to 110°C.
• Listings: UL Listed and CSA Recognized.

These terminals suit marine electrical systems and any other application that needs a vibration-resistant, moisture-sealed ring terminal connection. Use a crimp tool to attach the terminal, then heat the sleeve until it shrinks and the adhesive flows.
