Brass Fittings PVC Schedule 80 Cap FIP

Brass Fittings PVC Schedule 80 Cap FIP is a threaded pipe cap that closes off the end of a pipe or male-threaded fitting. The FIP (female iron pipe) threads screw onto male pipe threads. This makes it a simple way to terminate a line, add a service point for later expansion, or seal a pipe for testing or maintenance. It is also commonly called a PVC Sch 80 end cap, threaded pipe cap, or female threaded cap.

Key Features:

• Schedule 80 PVC construction: the heavy wall is built for higher pressure ratings than thinner-walled Schedule 40 PVC fittings.
• FIP threaded connection: female pipe threads allow a tight, removable seal on a male-threaded pipe end or nipple.
• Corrosion resistance: PVC does not rust or corrode, which suits water, irrigation, pool, and many chemical-handling applications.
• Lightweight and easy to install: thread the cap on with an appropriate pipe thread sealant or PTFE tape. Avoid over-tightening, because plastic threads can crack.

Available in multiple sizes to match common pipe and fitting diameters. This cap is a reliable, low-maintenance choice for plumbing, irrigation, industrial, and water-system projects that need a durable, serviceable end seal.
