Shields Hose Marine Exhaust Water Series

Shields Hose Marine Exhaust Water Series is a line of black, heavy-walled synthetic rubber marine exhaust and water hose. It is built for wet exhaust connections, engine water circulation, heat exchanger plumbing, and heavy-duty discharge lines. It is a no-wire design, so it suits installations where internal wire support isn't needed.

Key Features:

• Heavy-wall construction: Resists clamp-point wear, chafing, and engine vibration.
• Fabric reinforcement: Synthetic cord plies reinforce the hose (2 or 4 plies, depending on diameter).
• Chemical and heat resistance: Resists engine heat, exhaust fumes, ozone, mild chemicals, antifreeze, and salt water.
• Temperature range: -20°F to +200°F continuous, with intermittent exposure up to +250°F.
• Standards: Meets SAE J2006 Type R1, with ozone resistance above the SAE J2006 requirement.
• No-wire design: Best for straight runs and gentle curves where wire reinforcement isn't required.
