Viega MegaPress 316 Stainless Steel 45 Degree Street Elbow FKM

The Viega MegaPress 316 Stainless Steel 45 Degree Street Elbow with FKM seal is a press-connection pipe fitting. It changes the direction of a stainless steel piping run by 45 degrees. The street design has a plain end on one side. That end lets the elbow fit straight into another fitting, which saves a coupling and makes the run more compact. Use it where you need a 45-degree press fitting, also called a 45° street ell, for stainless steel pipe systems.

Key Features:

• 316 stainless steel construction for durable, corrosion-resistant service
• Press connection joins the fitting to the pipe without welding, threading or soldering
• Street end fits directly into another fitting for tighter layouts
• FKM sealing element provides the seal at the pressed joint
• Grip ring and separator ring are included as components of the fitting
• Designed for use with Schedule 5 to Schedule 40 stainless steel pipe

This fitting suits marine plumbing and other stainless steel piping applications. It is a dependable way to make angled transitions in a system built with Viega MegaPress components. Larger sizes in this line may need MegaPress XL rings and a PressBooster or Z3 actuator for installation, so check Viega's installation guidance for the size you are using.
