3M Perfect-It Foam Compounding Pad

The 3M Perfect-It Foam Compounding Pad line is 3M's highest-performing range of foam compounding pads. Use these buffing pads to refine sand scratches, polish at slow speed, denib and more on automotive paint. The foam face pattern gives more surface contact. It holds compound better and helps reduce slinging, so you get a cleaner, more even application.

Key Features:

• Foam construction holds compound and polish and helps prevent slinging for faster, cleaner results
• Convoluted foam face conforms to curves and body lines and helps reduce chatter
• Refines fine sand scratches on hard, medium and cured paint finishes
• Hook-and-loop (brushed nylon loop) backing attaches to 3M Hookit back-up pads for easy change-outs
• Part of the 3M Perfect-It Paint Finishing System for showroom-grade finishes

Pair these compounding pads with 3M compounds and a compatible Hookit back-up pad on a rotary or other polisher. The large foam surface area works efficiently and helps limit excess heat. It is a dependable choice for auto body shops and detailers who want consistent compounding results. For industrial/occupational use only.
