Ancor Battery Cable Heat Shrink Tubing

Ancor Battery Cable Heat Shrink Tubing is adhesive-lined, heavy-wall heat shrink tubing. It seals and insulates large-diameter cable connections, such as battery cables and lugs. Typical uses include battery cables, inverter cables and windlass wiring. The tubing shrinks into a tight, protective seal over the cable and terminal. That keeps the connection organized, insulated and protected from shorts.

Key Features:

• Adhesive lining: The heat-activated adhesive seals out salt water, oil, acids and sunlight. It also adds strain relief and helps reduce vibration at the connection.
• Heavy-wall construction: The thick wall suits large-diameter battery and power cables.
• 3:1 shrink ratio: The tubing shrinks to about one-third of its original diameter for a snug fit.
• Cross-linked polyolefin: This material is stronger than PVC tubing and does not burn like PVC.
• Heat range: The tubing shrinks at 257°F (125°C). Its operating temperature range is -40°F to 230°F (-40°C to 110°C).
• UL 224 listed: The tubing carries the UL 224 listing.
• Color-coded: The color coding makes polarity easier to identify and keeps wiring neat.

Ancor is a trusted name in marine-grade electrical products. This tubing is a good choice for boat, RV and automotive battery installations where a durable, moisture-resistant seal matters. Cable, lugs and a heat source are sold separately.
