Attwood Marine Gas Spring

The Attwood Marine Gas Spring line, also sold as the SpringLift gas spring, hatch lift support or gas strut, is built to lift, hold open and lower boat hatches, lids, covers and doors with smooth, controlled motion. Attwood makes these springs for marine use. They also work on RVs, campers and other equipment that needs a dependable lift assist.

Key Features:

• Gas-charged spring assist allows easy, one-handed opening and holds the hatch securely open
• Corrosion-resistant construction suited to harsh marine environments
• Composite end fittings that resist corrosion
• Socket-style end fittings for simple mounting on compatible ball studs and brackets
• Available in a range of lengths and output forces so you can match the spring to your hatch

Attwood is a well-known name in marine hardware, and these gas springs combine strength, durability and value. Select the length and output force that suit your application. A spring with the wrong force can keep a hatch from operating the way you want.
