Shurtape UV-Resistant Marine Hull Preservation Tape

Shurtape UV-Resistant Marine Hull Preservation Tape (PE 901) is a polyethylene film tape. It protects boats during marine transportation and temporary outdoor storage. The tape resists UV exposure and bonds with a synthetic rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive. It keeps a watertight seal, even in demanding conditions, and removes cleanly with little to no residue.

Key Features:

• UV-resistant polyethylene film backing for outdoor exposure
• 9.0 mil thickness
• Synthetic rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive
• Excellent conformability and flexibility, so it follows hull contours
• Maintains a watertight seal
• Designed for clean removal with little to no residue

Technical Highlights:

• Adhesion to backing: 35 oz/in width
• Adhesion to stainless steel: 85 oz/in width
• Elongation: 100%
• Service temperature range: 14°F to 158°F

Hull preservation tape is designed not to leave residue. Test a small area before applying it to the whole surface, because a top layer of paint or finish could lift on some surfaces. For best results, apply the tape to clean, dry surfaces and store it properly.
