Davis Instruments MiniShockle Bungee

The Davis Instruments MiniShockle bungee cord (also called a MiniShockle shock cord or heavy-duty bungee strap) is a marine-grade bungee that Davis describes as a bungee cord on steroids. Use it on boats and for camping, fishing, hiking and biking. It also works anywhere else you need to hold a load firmly in place.

Key Features:

• Rated at up to 10 times the holding power of a standard bungee cord
• UV-resistant nylon webbing is sewn over a marine-grade elastomer core for strength and durability
• The load-bearing nylon cover protects against sun and abrasion and keeps the elastomer from over-stretching
• 316 stainless steel wire gate snaps at each end, rated to a 300 lb (136 kg) safe working load
• Quick and easy to attach and release
• The design absorbs sudden impacts, which reduces stress on rigging and onboard gear

Typical uses include securing gear, tying sails, coiling lines and general-purpose tie-down jobs. The MiniShockle is a good choice when an ordinary hook-end bungee isn't strong or secure enough.
