VHT SP995 Nu-Cast Aluminum Engine Enamel is a high-performance coating designed to deliver exceptional durability and protection for engines and engine components. This specialized formula combines urethane and ceramic resins to create a long-lasting finish that withstands temperatures up to 500?F when properly cured, making it ideal for engine blocks, valve covers, intake manifolds, and other high-heat applications.

Application & Curing:

This engine enamel achieves its unique protective qualities through proper curing, which occurs naturally during normal engine operation or by heating parts to 200?F. For best results, VHT recommends using this enamel as part of their complete coating system, which includes surface prep, primer, color coat, and clear coat. Complete application and curing instructions are printed on each 11 oz aerosol can.

Perfect for restoring or customizing engines, engine accessories, and any component requiring a tough, heat-resistant, chemical-resistant finish with an authentic cast aluminum appearance.

The site was awesome to use and the prices are great as well. All of my items came undamaged though one of my drum brakes arrived dusty and unwrapped in its box- but it was still in good condition. My only complaint is that my order was all set to arrive by the Friday before Christmas and pieces of my order didn't arrive until after Christmas. Also online it says that those particular items didn't ship (maybe that factory was just slow to update their tracking info). I tried to contact autoplicity, but they were understandably closed for the holidays then by the time they reopened my order was already in hand. Overall, the pros outweigh the one con and I will order from them again.
