Product Details

The Holley 108-70 Heat Shield Kit provides essential thermal protection for your carburetor by creating an insulating barrier between the carburetor and intake manifold. This heat shield helps prevent fuel percolation and vapor lock issues caused by excessive engine heat transfer, ensuring consistent fuel delivery and reliable engine performance.

Key Features:

  • Constructed from durable aluminum material for excellent heat reflection
  • 0.250-inch (1/4-inch) thickness provides effective thermal insulation
  • Square bore design fits Holley Model 4010, 4150, and 4160 carburetors
  • Complete kit includes heat shield and gaskets for installation
  • Helps eliminate fuel boiling and hot-start problems in high-temperature applications
  • May require minor trimming for clearance with fuel lines or throttle linkage

This heat shield is particularly beneficial for engines with limited clearance, marine applications, or any setup where the carburetor is exposed to excessive radiant heat. Installation requires carburetor mounting studs to be extended approximately 1/4-inch longer than stock, or existing studs can be backed out slightly to accommodate the additional thickness.

I recently ordered 2 autometer gauges for my truck from Autoplicity. The order arrived 3 days later on my door step. The gauges are beautiful and I cant wait to install them.. Thanks Autoplicity!

I think I had to remind them to ship my item but once I did it shipped the next day. The package had the wrong label on it so I wondered if I got the right item but I did and all is well.
