PullRite 3317 SuperGlide Universal Capture Plate Kit for Fifth Wheel Hitches

The PullRite 3317 is a required component of the SuperGlide fifth wheel towing system designed for use when brand-specific capture plates are not compatible with your trailer's king pin box. This plate attaches to your trailer's skid plate and works in conjunction with your SuperGlide hitch to provide automatic sliding action during tight turns.

How It Works:

When hooked up to your SuperGlide hitch, the capture plate isolates the rotation of your trailer's king pin in the hitch, transferring movement and rotation to the automatic cam action of your SuperGlide hitch, moving it away from the cab along its rails to prevent the trailer from contacting the cab of your truck.

Installation Information:

This universal capture plate installs with at least 10 bolts through the bottom of the pin box on the trailer. In cases where the fore-to-aft dimension of the king pin box is very short, extension plates and knee braces are added to support the capture plate. Installation may require drilling and in some cases welding for proper fitment, particularly on trailers with shorter pin boxes.
