The Equalizer 95015150 Sway Bracket Jacket is a protective sleeve designed to eliminate the loud grinding and clanking noises that can occur during towing with Equal-i-zer weight distribution hitches. These injection-molded high-density nylon jackets fit over the L-brackets to minimize metal-on-metal contact between the spring arms and sway control brackets.

Installation is straightforward: hold the jacket with the flat side facing the L-bracket, slide it over the bottom, around the curve, and up the back. Once in place, position the spring arm over it and secure with the L-pin and clip. Note that using these jackets may slightly reduce friction-based sway control, though the reduction is minimal in most applications. Not compatible with 4K models or newer Equal-i-zer brackets with rotating spring clips.
