Product Details

VHT SP114 FlameProof Coating in Flat Orange is a professional-grade, high-temperature ceramic coating designed to protect surfaces exposed to extreme heat. This silicone ceramic-based coating withstands continuous temperatures up to 2000?F (1093?C), making it ideal for exhaust headers, manifolds, turbo housings, exhaust pipes, and other high-heat automotive components. The same technology trusted by the aerospace industry for jet engines and re-entry vehicles.

Key Features:

  • Withstands extreme temperatures up to 2000?F (1093?C) when properly cured
  • Matte finish flat orange color coat for a professional appearance
  • Silicone ceramic base provides superior heat resistance and durability
  • Part of VHT's three-part high-performance coating system (primer, color, clear)
  • Extends the life of exhaust systems and other high-temperature surfaces
  • 11 oz aerosol can for easy application

Curing Process:

Proper curing is essential to achieve maximum heat resistance. On-vehicle curing: Allow paint to dry completely, then idle engine for 10 minutes, cool 20 minutes, idle 20 minutes, cool 20 minutes, then run at normal operating temperature for 30 minutes. Off-vehicle curing: Heat to 250?F for 30 minutes, cool 30 minutes, heat to 400?F for 30 minutes, cool 30 minutes, heat to 650?F for 30 minutes. Complete instructions included on can.

For best results, use as part of the complete VHT FlameProof system with VHT primer and clear coat. Not for sale in Catalina Island due to VOC regulations.

Easy to order with quick delivery

I had a great experience shopping at autoplicity

free shipping

Great price found for my product. excellent customer service and my item was in stock.

Ordering was very easy and product was delivered within a week. I ordered a battery and it was received in good condition and works. I would recommend autoplicity to others.

This is our second order from Autoplicity. The first one didn't go so well due to a mix up with the Sparco seat pricing. Though I was starting to question our decision to order from them after several emails and phone calls and online chats, they came through in the end. These guys earned our second order by honoring the price they had listed and then calling to follow up when our race seat was shipped. Since this group was able turn our bad experience into a positive one we made our second order and, so far, it looks like they are again getting us what we want at the best price we can find. We are happy to recommend Autoplicty and plan on using them for future orders. There is one specific thing we would recommend, change the quality and volume of the hold music on the 800 #. It sounded like we were calling a 1970's van with a blown Jensen stereo turned all the way up,...

Shipped very quickly and had the best price I could find!

Great product, fast shipping

The whole process was some and quick. They also had the lowest prices available. Will be using them more often for sure!!

This was my first order with Autoplicity and I am very happy. They had the lowest price on-line that I found. Communication was great and shipping was very fast. I ordered late on Thursday and it was at my house the following Tuesday, and I didn't pay for rush shipping. I got exactly what I expected. Will do business with these guys again.
