VHT SP128 Engine Enamel delivers professional-grade protection for engines and high-heat components with a brilliant gloss yellow finish. This high-temperature coating withstands up to 550?F (500?F intermittent) when properly cured, making it ideal for engine blocks, valve covers, intake manifolds, and other underhood accessories that demand both durability and appearance.

Advanced Urethane-Ceramic Formula:

  • Unique blend of urethane and ceramic resins provides superior heat and chemical resistance
  • Resists corrosion, rust, salt spray, and modern gasoline additives
  • Withstands automotive degreasers and harsh underhood chemicals
  • Dries to touch in 30 minutes, fully overnight

Professional Coating System:

  • Part of VHT's multi-step high-performance coating system
  • Best results when used with VHT primer, color coat, and clear coat
  • Achieves ultimate durability through proper surface preparation and curing
  • Cures naturally with normal engine operating temperatures or by heating to 200?F

Each 11 oz aerosol can includes complete application and curing instructions. VHT Engine Enamel only attains its maximum heat and chemical resistance after following the proper curing process. Not for sale in Catalina Island due to VOC restrictions.

Product (Dee-Zee nerf bars) was exactly as advertised. Buying experience was great. I did contact customer service via email to find out the shipping information. They were very helpful and replied within a few hours.

Paint looks nice but you have to give it a lot of coats to get it yellow. I have not heated up the engine block yet to see it cure. I did the breather and heated it up on the wood stove so it seemed to harden up good. I need another can now. LOL
