The Arco Starting & Charging 5388 is an original equipment quality replacement outboard starter designed for Mercury 50-60 HP 3-cylinder engines from 1991-1996, as well as 45 HP Jet models. This starter features a 10-tooth drive gear for reliable engine cranking.

  • Epoxy powder coated for maximum corrosion protection in harsh marine environments
  • Motor shafts induction case hardened at bearing surfaces for superior wear resistance
  • All armatures tested to withstand 50 times operation voltage (12V)

  • 12-volt operating voltage with 10-tooth drive gear configuration
