Product Details

The Attwood Marine 1002-SS is a durable stainless steel seat mount designed for marine seating applications. This spring-less seat mount features the innovative Lock'N-Pin system that locks together securely to prevent unintentional detachment between seat mounts, posts, and pedestals, ensuring safe and reliable operation on the water.

Key Features:

  • Stainless steel construction for superior corrosion resistance in marine environments
  • Lock'N-Pin locking mechanism prevents accidental seat separation
  • 2-3/4" x 3/4" pin dimensions for secure mounting
  • 3-degree tilt adjustment for comfortable positioning
  • Spring-less design for simplified installation and maintenance
  • Compatible with standard marine seat posts and pedestals

This seat mount provides a stable, secure connection for boat seats while allowing slight tilt adjustment for operator comfort. The stainless steel construction ensures long-lasting performance even in harsh saltwater conditions.

I was only shipped 1 of the 4 bolts needed to assemble the extension on the unit. Had to scrounge the shop to find more bolts. Assembling the unit in that small space was quite the chore. Although a few negatives, I do have to say I am super impressed with the unit!! Very heavy duty and I now feel very safe in leaving valuables in my truck as long as they are locked up in this!! Very well made!!

Just wished I could get my parts sooner rather than 2 months later

Very simple.

The only problem was the picture in add showed 2 c clips packaged together. But you only receive 1 so I had to order a second one.

Good prices, now let’s see how long it takes to get my part.
