Product Details

The Attwood Marine 400-R Transom Saver provides essential support and protection for outboard motors during transport. This adjustable transom support system extends from 23 to 35 inches, making it compatible with a wide range of boat and trailer configurations.

Key Features:

  • Deluxe composite pad head protects motor finish and distributes weight evenly
  • Durable black-coated steel tube resists corrosion in marine environments
  • Versatile roller mounting bracket allows for bolt-on or roller installation
  • Adjustable length accommodates various motor heights and trailer designs
  • Relieves stress on transom and motor mounts during highway travel
  • Stabilizes engine and steering mechanism to prevent damaging movement

Designed for trailering, this transom saver bears the weight of your outboard motor to reduce stress on the engine's tilt/trim system and the boat's transom. By eliminating bouncing and lateral movement during transport, the 400-R helps extend the life of your motor and prevents costly steering system repairs. The composite contact pads ensure a secure grip without scratching or marring your motor's finish.

Very easy to look for parts.

quick and easy

Fast and easy

Easy process...but the picture of the item is nowhere near close. Shows an intake manifold instead of a cabin air filter.
