Product Details

The Attwood Marine 9300FDV7 Fuel Demand Valve is designed to address engine flooding and fuel spillage issues caused by modern pressurized fuel systems. With EPA regulations requiring portable fuel tanks to remain sealed up to a minimum of 5 PSI, this inline valve ensures that fuel reaches your engine only when demanded during startup or operation, not as a result of tank pressure.

Key Features:

  • Prevents engine flooding and eliminates fuel spray when connecting or disconnecting fittings at the engine
  • Stops pressurized "slugs" of fuel from reaching the engine, preventing potential damage
  • Compatible with 3/8" and 5/16" fuel hose sizes
  • Installs between the fuel tank and primer bulb for above-deck use only
  • Built-in manual override for added convenience
  • Low vacuum restriction (less than 2 kPa at 125 liters/hour) ensures proper engine function
  • 20 PSI maximum nominal input pressure, protected for 40 PSI pressure spikes
  • Compatible with ethanol-blended fuels
  • Constructed from high-strength composite material designed to withstand harsh marine environments

Developed in partnership with OEM engine manufacturers, this fuel demand valve is compatible with all major outboard engine brands. The valve eliminates potential service and warranty issues related to pressurized fuel lines while ensuring reliable engine performance. No siphon protection feature. Use with Attwood Universal Sprayless Connector (8838US6, sold separately) for complete fuel system protection.

Excellent prices, but after a week and a half of hearing nothing I called to find out that my item, the customer service rep said it had been back ordered and I would receive an email once it shipped...my item arrived the next day and I received the shipping email four days later, no big deal just takes a while to get items, but you cannot beat the prices!

There.was a bit of miscommunication between sales and shipping departments, but my order was filled and shipped as stated. Very low price, in fact the lowest on the net, and I did alot of research.
