The Atwood Mobile 91603 Jade Safety Pilot Assembly is an OEM direct-replacement pilot assembly designed for Atwood propane-fired RV water heaters. This 9-inch assembly restores reliable pilot ignition performance, providing consistent hot water for RVs, campers, and trailers.
How It Works:
The pilot assembly mounts directly to the water heater main burner tube and consists of two key components working together. The gas tube (pilot light) ignites the propane flowing from the main burner, while the integrated thermocouple generates a small electrical current when heated. That current signals the gas control valve to allow gas to flow freely through the main burner, keeping the system safely operational.
