Product Details

The Blue Sea Systems 3001 HD-Series Battery Switch is a heavy-duty single circuit ON/OFF switch with Alternator Field Disconnect (AFD), designed for demanding marine electrical systems. With a robust 600-ampere continuous rating, this switch is built to handle high-current applications while providing reliable battery isolation.

Key Features:

 • 600 ampere continuous rating for heavy-duty performance
 • Accepts two 4/0 battery cables per terminal for flexible installation
 • Ignition protected design—safe for installation aboard gasoline-powered boats
 • Extended 0.870" (22.01mm) stud length accommodates multiple cable terminals
 • 1/2" (M12) tin-plated copper studs provide maximum conductivity and corrosion resistance
 • Meets American Boat and Yacht Council (ABYC) requirements for battery switches
 • Tactile textures on knob indicate position by feel for easy operation in low-light conditions
 • Versatile case design allows for surface or rear panel mounting
 • Compatible with Perko and Guest low amperage battery switch hole patterns for easy upgrades

The AFD feature protects your alternator by preventing voltage spikes that can occur when batteries are disconnected while the engine is running. This rugged switch is ideal for sailboats, powerboats, and other marine vessels requiring dependable battery management and electrical system protection.

I could not use PayPal, but otherwise all went well.

their write up about the product was slightly miss leading being that it was saying that the part went to the wrong car. But the part number said it was for a different car.

But hands down they had the best price and so far seems to be a great company. I would purchase from again. It would be ideal if they offered more in the sports compact area though.

I paid for 2nd day shipping and 5 days later they were shipped out. So, I should receive my rotors in a full week from when I paid for 2 day shipping. I called customer service and they discounted the shipping rate to ground service. At least they were polite and helpful in the phone.
