Blue Sea Systems 4012 Cable Cap Stud Red 1/2 Inch Single Entry Terminal Insulator

The Blue Sea Systems 4012 CableCap is a rotating single-entry terminal insulator designed to protect high-amperage stud terminals from accidental shorts and corrosion. Terminal connections on alternators, starters, electric winches, windlasses, and other high-current components are vulnerable to accidental contact from tools or conductive materials during service or operation, which can bridge positive and negative terminals and create dangerous short circuits.

Key Features:

• Red color coding for positive terminal identification
• Elastic PVC material installs easily over terminals and cables
• 1/2 inch stud size with single cable entry
• Rotating design accommodates various wire run directions
• Provides insulation barrier to prevent accidental shorts
• Reduces terminal corrosion when installed
• Lifetime warranty coverage

This cable cap fits tightly over the cable connection to create a secure, insulated barrier that protects critical electrical connections in marine, RV, and automotive applications. The rotating single-entry design allows proper alignment regardless of cable routing direction.
