Product Details

The Blue Sea Systems 7143 is a 90-amp thermal DC circuit breaker from their 187 Series, designed for surface mounting in marine and other DC electrical systems. This circuit breaker combines switching and circuit protection into a single robust device, eliminating the need for separate switches and fuses.

Key Features:

  • Integrated switch and circuit protection in one compact unit
  • Trip-free design prevents manual override during fault conditions
  • Waterproof construction suitable for harsh marine environments
  • Ignition protected per SAE J1171 requirements - safe for gasoline-powered vessels
  • Clear single-lever operation with large, easy-to-grip handle
  • Recessed mounting holes for professional, clean installation
  • Robust 5/16-inch terminal studs accept heavy gauge wire lugs
  • Lever orientation (vertical/horizontal) provides instant trip status indication

Technical Specifications:

  • Circuit Breaker Class: Type III - Switchable/Manual Reset
  • Type: Thermally responsive bi-metal blade
  • Rating: 90 amperes
  • Voltage Rating: 48 Volts DC maximum
  • Interrupt Rating: 5,000 amps @ 12V DC, 3,000 amps @ 24V DC, 1,500 amps @ 42V DC
  • Case Material: Thermoset polyester
  • Operating Temperature Range: -25°C to +82°C

This circuit breaker is ideal for protecting high-current DC circuits in boats, RVs, and other vehicles. The trip-free mechanism ensures the breaker cannot be held in the "ON" position during a fault, providing superior safety. All components meet SAE J1171 external ignition protection requirements, making it safe for installation in environments with gasoline vapors.

Quick n easy! Istallation is a bit rough but the product is very much worth it.

Fast Shipping, great product. Prices are cheap, they lowered their price on my item a couple of days later and am in the process of getting the difference w/ their buySafe 3 in 1 guarantee. So far everything is great, would definitely recommend.

I ordered the correct Ranch Hand Bumper part number for my 2006 GMC Sierra 2500HD, but your description says it's for a 1500HD. I hope it is for my truck. It's a great deal if correct!

So far easy to order from. I will see how long it takes to get product now.

using amazon pay is easy I was not able to track the UPS shipment until the day of delivery. Maybe the number did not scan correctly at the time of shipment. Customer service did show it was shipped on time, and it arrived quickly.

Lowest price usually means sub-par customer service. Not the case at Autoplicity. I had questions after my item shipped, they responded promptly and professionally multiple times, and were totally willing to work with me. Very satisfying, would not hesitate to order from Autoplicity again.

Best the price and shipping cost. Had a question about the product, the customer service was fast and helpful in getting my question answered
