The Blue Sea Systems 8283 is a water-resistant Contura III switch designed for demanding marine environments. This single pole, double throw (SPDT) switch features an On-Off-On configuration with two embedded LEDs for clear status indication in low-light conditions.

  • Vibration, shock, thermoshock, moisture, and salt spray resistant construction
  • Ignition Protected - meets UL1500 and ISO8846 requirements for safe installation on gasoline-powered boats
  • Two embedded LEDs rated for 100,000 hours half-life with 18 milliamp draw
  • Specially manufactured for mounting in Blue Sea Systems water-resistant panels
  • Wide temperature rating: -40°C to 85°C (-40°F to 185°F)
