Product Details

The Brass Fittings 44672 is a solid square head plug designed for reliable pipe closure in various plumbing and industrial applications. Constructed from durable bronze material, this fitting provides excellent corrosion resistance and long-lasting performance in non-potable water systems.

Key Features:

  • Solid square head design for easy installation and removal with standard wrenches
  • Bronze construction offers superior strength and corrosion resistance
  • Designed for secure pipe end closure and pressure containment
  • Suitable for air, gas, oil, and non-potable water applications
  • NPT threaded connection for tight, leak-resistant seal

Important Notice: This bronze fitting is NOT rated for potable water systems. Use only in applications involving compressed air, natural gas, petroleum products, or non-potable fluids.

Square head plugs are essential components for closing off unused pipe openings, performing system maintenance, or isolating specific sections of piping during repairs. The square head configuration provides better grip and torque application compared to hex plugs, making it ideal for applications requiring frequent removal or high-torque installation.

First time shopper

I was a little concerned at first. They advertise same-day order processing, and they said my part was in stock. However, my order took three business days (plus the weekend) to finally ship. As long as the right part arrives, I'll be happy. The price was $100 less than everywhere else, so that can't be beat.

The item has not been delivered yet. But the email updates are great. And I found this much cheaper than elsewere.

very quick...
