Brass Fittings EL1258 Nylon Hose Barb Elbow 1/2" MPT x 5/8" Barb 90 Degree

The Brass Fittings EL1258 is a 90-degree nylon hose barb elbow fitting with 1/2" male pipe thread (MPT) and 5/8" hose barb connection. This white nylon elbow provides an excellent method of diverting fluid lines at right angles without risking kinks or flow restrictions in the tubing.

Key Features:

• Manufactured from white nylon material that meets FDA requirements of Code of Federal Regulation part 177.1500, making it suitable for food contact surfaces
• Rated for working pressures up to 150 PSI and temperatures up to 175°F
• Good resistance to most agricultural chemicals and non-acid based fertilizers
• Lightweight nylon construction is easier to handle and install than metal fittings
• Barbed connection design is inserted into tubing and secured with a stainless steel hose clamp for a tight, leak-resistant seal
• 90-degree elbow configuration saves space and provides clean routing in tight installations

This versatile nylon hose barb elbow is ideal for water supply systems, agricultural spraying applications, marine plumbing (above waterline), RV fresh water systems, and other general-purpose fluid handling tasks where chemical compatibility and FDA approval are important. The 1/2" MPT connection threads into standard pipe fittings, while the 5/8" barb accepts flexible hose or tubing of the corresponding inside diameter.
