Product Details

The Camp Zinc 826134 is a sacrificial zinc wedge anode designed to provide cathodic protection for Mercury, Mariner, and Force outboard engines. This corrosion control component installs in the two side pockets on the gearhousing just above the cavitation plate, protecting critical metal components from galvanic corrosion in saltwater environments.

Key Features:

  • Manufactured to MIL-SPEC A-18001 military standards for zinc anodes
  • Wedge-style design fits securely in side pocket mounting locations
  • Measures 2.94 inches long x 1.06 inches wide with 7/8-inch thickness at tallest end
  • 1/4-inch diameter mounting hole for secure installation
  • Designed specifically for saltwater marine applications

Compatibility:

  • Mercury/Mariner 35-300 HP outboard engines
  • Force 90 and 120 HP outboards (1995 and newer)

Zinc anodes should be inspected frequently to ensure proper functionality, as anodes subject to cavitation will decay more rapidly. Always check propeller clearance after installing new anodes before starting the engine. This anode replaces OEM part numbers 826134, 97-826134T, 826134T, 18-6068, and others.
