Product Details

The Camp Zinc A40 is an oval-shaped zinc hull plate designed for marine corrosion protection. This sacrificial anode uses zinc to provide cathodic protection, preventing corrosion of metal components exposed to seawater. Manufactured in the USA by Camp Company to ensure the highest quality corrosion protection, this anode is suitable for recreational, commercial, and military vessels.

  • Oval hull plate design for easy mounting
  • Measures approximately 7.5" L x 2.75" W x 0.5" thick
  • Conforms to U.S. MIL-SPEC standards for marine anodes
  • Mounts to hull on pre-existing bracket or to trim tabs
  • Zinc is the traditional anode choice for saltwater vessels

For proper operation, ensure the zinc anode has clean contact with the hull surface. Zinc anodes should be replaced every season or after two-thirds of the zinc has eroded, whichever occurs first. It is recommended to apply a small amount of grease to fastener threads for easier removal during the next replacement.
