Dutton-Lainson 14914 Self-Locking Brake Winch 800 lb Capacity Zinc Plated

The Dutton-Lainson 14914 is a self-locking brake winch designed for safe and controlled lifting and lowering applications with a capacity of 800 pounds. This zinc-plated winch features an automatic friction brake system that provides constant, positive holding action to prevent runaway loads and ensure operator safety.

Key Features:

• 800-pound load capacity for versatile lifting and pulling tasks
• Automatic friction brake maintains constant holding pressure
• Self-locking mechanism keeps load secure when handle is released
• Zinc-plated finish for corrosion resistance
• Requires tension on the line to pull from the drum
• Ideal for boat trailers, equipment lifting, and material handling

This brake winch is engineered for applications requiring precise load control and hands-free holding capability. The automatic braking system engages immediately when the handle stops moving, providing reliable safety for vertical lifting operations or incline pulling where gravity could cause the load to slip.
