Product Details

The Epifanes PU801.750 is a high-gloss, two-component, polyester-saturated aliphatic urethane topside coating in Black (#801). Formulated for maximum resin depth and hardness, this professional-grade marine finish delivers a long-lasting, mirror-like gloss with outstanding scratch, impact, and wear resistance. It is suitable for both interior and exterior use above the waterline.

  • For use above the waterline; interior and exterior applications
  • Compatible for maintenance of existing two-component topcoat systems, regardless of brand
  • Coverage: Approximately 9 m² per 750g at 30 µm dry film thickness
  • Recommended Film Thickness: 80 µm wet per coat / 40–45 µm dry per coat
  • Mixing Ratio: 2 parts base (A) to 1 part hardener (B) by weight
  • Drying Times (at 65°F / 65% RH): Tack free – 3 hrs | Tape free – 7 hrs | Hard dry – 8 hrs | Recoatable – 24 hrs
  • Recoatable without sanding between 24–48 hours; sand after 48 hours with P220 dry sandpaper

Package Contents: 750g total — 500g base (Part A) + 250g hardener/reactor (Part B); mixed at a 2:1 ratio by weight. Polyurethane thinner for brush/roller or spray application sold separately.
