Hubbell YQ230 Intelligent Y-Adapter 50A 125/250V Female to 2x 30A 125V Male Marine Shore Power

The Hubbell YQ230 Intelligent Y-Adapter enables safe connection of your boat's 50 amp 125/250V shore power system to docks that only provide two 30 amp 125V receptacles, resulting in 30 amp 125/250V power to operate most onboard systems. This marine-grade adapter features a 50A 125/250V 3-pole 4-wire Twist-Lock® female connector and two 30A 125V 2-pole 3-wire Twist-Lock® male plugs.

Intelligent Safety Features:

• 4-pole contactor breaks both hots and both neutrals to prevent a possible "live" plug when not engaged
• Internal sensors only allow current to flow if both plugs are fully engaged, preventing a loose plug from becoming hot or live
• Sensors verify correct polarity of 30A receptacles on the dock and ensure receptacles are oppositely phased for true 250V power
• Safety indicator light confirms safe operation when illuminated
• Automatically shuts off power if improper wiring conditions exist or if one plug is not fully engaged
