Megaware KeelGuard 27101 SkegGuard Stainless Steel Skeg Protector

The Megaware SkegGuard 27101 is a precision-engineered skeg protector designed to both prevent damage to your outboard motor's skeg and serve as a functional repair solution for an already broken or damaged skeg. Whether you're navigating shallow water with hidden rocks, launching at a concrete boat ramp, or dealing with submerged debris, the SkegGuard keeps your lower unit protected.

Key Features:

• 18-gauge marine-grade 316 stainless steel construction for maximum durability and corrosion resistance in saltwater and freshwater environments
• Mirror-polished finish for a clean, professional appearance that maintains its shine over years of use
• Reinforced 3mm wear tab across the bottom provides extra protection where the skeg is most vulnerable to impact and abrasion
• Drain hole on the bottom prevents water from collecting, reducing the risk of corrosion and freezing
• Conforms to your lower unit profile to ensure no discernible drag or compromise in boat performance
• Installs with as little as 2–3 inches of skeg remaining — ideal for repair applications on damaged skegs
• Quick installation using self-locking hardware and common tools in under 10 minutes
• 3-Year Limited Warranty backed by Megaware KeelGuard, Inc.

The SkegGuard 27101 is compatible with Evinrude/Johnson 100, 115, 120, and 140 HP 2-Stroke outboards (1980–2001) and OMC Cobra 4-Cylinder engines (1986–1994), making it an ideal skeg guard for a wide range of classic and vintage outboard motors. UPC: 672057271018.
