Keel Guard SP665 Megaware SkegPro Stainless Steel Skeg Protector

The Megaware SkegPro SP665 is a precision-fit stainless steel skeg protector designed to shield your outboard motor's skeg from the everyday hazards of boating — ramp dragging, submerged rocks, debris, and abrasive sand. Built by Megaware KeelGuard, the makers of the original KeelGuard, this skeg guard delivers professional-grade protection at a fraction of the cost of a skeg repair or replacement weld.

Key Features:

• Constructed from anti-corrosive, 18-gauge 304 marine-grade stainless steel for exceptional durability in saltwater and freshwater environments
• Mirror-polished finish adds a custom look while providing lasting protection against harsh marine conditions
• Contoured design conforms precisely to your lower unit, ensuring no discernible drag or reduction in performance
• Built-in drain hole prevents water from collecting inside the guard, reducing the risk of corrosion and freezing
• Secured with self-locking hardware included in the box for a reliable, rattle-free fit
• DIY installation in under 10 minutes using basic hand tools — no professional help required
• Saves hundreds of dollars compared to skeg welding or lower unit replacement
• Backed by a 3-year manufacturer's warranty

The Megaware SkegPro SP665 is an inexpensive, long-lasting solution to one of boating's most common and costly problems. Once installed, it provides continuous skeg protection season after season.
