Product Details

The Marshall Excelsior MER401-36 is a 36-inch excess flow propane pigtail hose designed for safe and reliable LP gas connections in RV, residential, and commercial applications. Built to the trusted MER401 series standard, this pigtail provides a secure transition between your LP gas cylinder and downstream regulator or appliance.

Key Features:

  • Length: 36 inches for flexible cylinder-to-regulator connections
  • Excess Flow Protection: 9 GPM excess flow valve on the Male POL fitting — automatically restricts gas flow in the event of a downstream rupture or leak
  • Inlet Fitting: Male POL (Point of Connection) fitting for standard LP cylinders
  • Outlet Fitting: 1/4-inch Male Inverted Flare for standard regulator or appliance connections
  • Nut Size: 7/8-inch connection nut
  • Constructed for durable, long-lasting LP gas service
  • Designed to meet applicable LP gas safety standards

The built-in excess flow valve adds a critical layer of safety by limiting gas flow if a line is accidentally severed or a fitting fails, helping to prevent dangerous gas releases. The MER401-36 is a reliable choice for RV propane systems, standby generators, and other LP gas installations requiring a flexible pigtail connection.
