Martyr Anodes CMC03M 1-Inch Collar Magnesium Sacrificial Anode

The Martyr Anodes CMC03M is a 1-inch collar-style sacrificial anode engineered for freshwater corrosion protection. This magnesium anode is designed to protect underwater metal components — such as shafts, struts, and rudders — from galvanic corrosion by sacrificing itself in place of more critical metal parts.

Key Features:

• Magnesium alloy construction — optimized for use in freshwater environments where a more electronegative material is required for effective galvanic protection
• 1-inch collar design — mounts directly onto 1-inch diameter propeller shafts for a secure, reliable fit
• Sacrificial protection — corrodes preferentially to protect bronze, stainless steel, and aluminum components
• High-purity alloy — meets military specification standards for consistent electrochemical performance
• Drop-in replacement — compatible with standard 1-inch shaft collar anode applications

Anode Material Selection Guide:

• Magnesium (CMC03M) — recommended for freshwater lakes, rivers, and inland waterways
• Zinc — recommended for saltwater and ocean environments
• Aluminum — suitable for brackish or mixed-water environments

Martyr Anodes are manufactured by Canada Metal Pacific, a trusted leader in marine sacrificial anode technology. Regular inspection and timely replacement of worn anodes is essential to maintaining the integrity of your vessel's underwater metals.
