Product Details

The Martyr Anodes CMC05M is a 1.25-inch collar-style anode designed to protect marine drive components from galvanic corrosion. This anode features a collar design that fits over shafts, propeller shafts, and rudder stocks to provide sacrificial protection to underwater metal components.

Key Features:

  • 1.25-inch inside diameter collar design for easy installation over shafts
  • Available in magnesium alloy for fresh water applications
  • Also available in zinc alloy for salt water environments
  • Sacrificial anode technology protects expensive drive components from corrosion
  • Manufactured to strict quality standards for consistent performance
  • Split collar design with mounting hardware for secure attachment

Martyr is a leading manufacturer of corrosion control anodes for marine applications. This collar anode provides essential galvanic protection by corroding preferentially to more valuable metal components like propeller shafts, struts, and rudders. Regular inspection and replacement of anodes is critical for maintaining proper corrosion protection and extending the life of underwater running gear.
