The Martyr Anodes CMSXAKITM is a complete sacrificial anode kit engineered specifically for Volvo Penta SX-A and DPS stern drive units. This comprehensive kit provides essential corrosion protection for your stern drive's underwater metal components, helping to prevent costly damage from galvanic corrosion in saltwater and brackish water environments.

Kit Includes:

  • 1x CM3841427 anode (replaces Volvo Penta 3841427)
  • 1x CM3883728 anode (replaces Volvo Penta 3883728)
  • Complete fastening hardware for secure installation

Martyr anodes are manufactured from a specialized magnesium alloy that meets or exceeds military spec MIL-A-18001K and ASTM B843 standards. These anodes are designed to sacrifice themselves through electrolysis, protecting more expensive drive components like the aluminum housing, propeller shaft, and trim tab assemblies. Regular inspection and replacement of sacrificial anodes is a critical part of marine engine maintenance, and this kit provides all the necessary components for complete protection of your Volvo Penta stern drive system.

Each anode is precision-cast to OEM specifications ensuring proper fit and optimal performance. The included stainless steel fastening hardware ensures secure mounting and reliable electrical contact for effective galvanic protection.
