Product Details

The Martyr Anodes CMSXAKITZ is a complete sacrificial anode kit specifically designed for Volvo Penta SX-A and DPS stern drive systems. This essential protection kit helps prevent galvanic corrosion on your sterndrive components, extending the life of expensive metal parts in saltwater and freshwater environments.

Kit Contents:

  • 1 x CM3841427 anode (replaces Volvo Penta 3841427)
  • 1 x CM3883728 anode (replaces Volvo Penta 3883728)
  • Complete fastening hardware for installation

Martyr Anodes are manufactured from a specialized aluminum alloy that provides superior protection in all water conditions. These anodes are designed to corrode sacrificially, protecting more valuable metal components like the sterndrive housing, propeller shaft, and trim tab from destructive galvanic corrosion. Regular inspection and replacement of sacrificial anodes is critical preventive maintenance for any stern drive system.

Features:

  • Direct replacement for Volvo Penta OEM anodes
  • Premium aluminum alloy construction for maximum protection
  • Includes all necessary mounting hardware
  • Suitable for saltwater, brackish, and freshwater use
  • Meets or exceeds OEM specifications

This kit provides everything needed to maintain proper corrosion protection on your Volvo Penta SX-A or DPS drive unit. Anodes should be inspected regularly and replaced when 50% depleted to ensure continuous protection.
