Martyr Anodes CMXC08Z Zinc Clamp Shaft Anode 1-3/4 Inch

The Martyr Anodes CMXC08Z is a zinc clamp-style shaft anode designed to protect 1-3/4 inch propeller shafts from galvanic corrosion in saltwater and brackish water environments. This sacrificial anode attaches directly to the shaft using a secure clamp design that ensures a tight, reliable fit without requiring shaft modification.

Key Features:

• Clamp insert design ensures tight, secure fit to 1-3/4 inch diameter shafts
• Premium zinc alloy provides effective galvanic protection in saltwater
• Stainless steel hardware and lock washers included for corrosion-resistant installation
• Bolt retaining washers prevent anode from falling off if zinc is depleted
• Easy underwater installation and replacement without haul-out
• No drilling or welding required—clamps directly to shaft

Martyr Anodes are manufactured to strict military specifications and are widely recognized as premium replacement anodes for marine applications. Regular inspection and replacement of shaft anodes is essential for protecting expensive underwater metals including propellers, shafts, rudders, and through-hull fittings from costly corrosion damage.
