Product Details

The MDR MDR789 Inflatable Boat Top Coating in Light Gray is a specially formulated, water-based coating designed to restore faded, discolored, or multi-toned inflatable boats back to their original color and luster. Whether your dinghy, RIB, or tender has lost its finish from UV exposure or general wear, this coating brings it back to a like-new appearance.

Key Features:

  • Broad Compatibility: Suitable for use on Hypalon (CSM), PVC, vinyl, and rubber inflatables
  • Water-Based Formula: Non-toxic and odor-free — safe for indoor use or application in tight, enclosed areas
  • Easy Application: Apply with a foam brush or roller for smooth, even coverage
  • Simple Cleanup: Cleans up with water — no solvents required
  • Flexible Finish: Coating remains flexible enough to withstand folding and storage without cracking or peeling
  • Excellent Coverage: One quart covers approximately 100 sq. ft.; two coats recommended for optimum performance
  • Light Gray Color: Available color is Light Gray to match a wide range of inflatable boat finishes

Application Tips: Thoroughly clean and dry the surface before coating. Avoid citrus-based cleaners, petroleum-based products, acetone, or MEK during surface prep. Stir or shake the product well for a minimum of 5 minutes before use. Allow at least 4 hours between coats and a minimum of 24 hours before launching.

The MDR MDR789 Inflatable Boat Top Coating is an easy, cost-effective solution to extend the life and appearance of your inflatable boat, dinghy, or RIB.
