Product Details

The Quicksilver 12644A1 is an OEM 4-inch exhaust flapper kit designed for MerCruiser inboard and sterndrive marine engines. This exhaust flapper valve mounts at the exhaust outlet and acts as a one-way check valve, preventing following seas and backflow water from entering the exhaust system and reaching the engine when it is not running or operating at low RPM.

What's Included:

  • 4-inch rubber exhaust flapper valve
  • Stainless steel hose clamp

Key Features:

  • 4-inch (101mm) diameter — fits standard 4" OD exhaust outlet pipes
  • OEM Quicksilver/Mercury quality — direct factory replacement part
  • Weather-resistant rubber construction — built to withstand harsh marine environments
  • Stainless steel clamp included — ensures a secure, corrosion-resistant installation

Cross-Reference Part Numbers: 12644A1, 12644Q01, Sierra 18-4457, OMC/Johnson/Evinrude 0509495

This is a genuine Quicksilver OEM replacement exhaust flapper kit. Always verify your engine serial number and parts manual to confirm correct fitment for your specific application.
