Quicksilver 65533A1 Stern Drive Gimbal Housing Transom Seal for MerCruiser MC-I R MR Alpha One

The Quicksilver 65533A1 Gimbal Housing Transom Seal is an OEM-specification replacement seal designed to seat at the perimeter of the gimbal ring mating surface on MerCruiser stern drives. This seal creates a critical watertight barrier between the gimbal housing and the transom, protecting the transom assembly from water intrusion. It is engineered specifically for MerCruiser MC-I, R, MR, and Alpha One stern drives equipped with trim senders mounted on the sides of the gimbal ring, covering applications through 1990.

As a genuine Quicksilver part, this seal is manufactured to Mercury Marine's original equipment specifications, ensuring proper fit, function, and long-term durability in the demanding marine environment. Best practice is to replace this seal any time the gimbal housing is removed during service.
