• Genuine OEM Part – Manufactured by Mercury Marine to exact factory specifications, ensuring proper fit and reliable performance
• Critical Fire Protection – Reduces the risk of backfire-related engine fires by arresting flames before they can escape the intake
• MPI Throttle Body Compatible – Engineered specifically for mechanical throttle and shift MPI applications
• Marine-Grade Construction – Built to withstand the harsh marine environment, resisting corrosion and wear over time
• Maintains Airflow Efficiency – Designed to provide fire protection without restricting engine breathing or compromising performance

The 863416T flame arrestor is a routine maintenance and safety item for MerCruiser MPI sterndrive engines. Replacing a worn or clogged flame arrestor helps maintain both engine performance and compliance with marine safety standards. This part is sold individually.
