The Quicksilver 864908A 1 is a genuine OEM 6-inch exhaust riser extension kit designed for MerCruiser stern drive engines using dry joint exhaust manifolds with standard (raw water) cooling. This kit raises the exhaust elbow height by 6 inches, helping to reduce the risk of water backing up through the exhaust system and into the engine.

Engineered specifically for 14° dry joint risers where the bolt is either 5-3/4" or 7-1/2" long, this kit is the correct replacement for "Warm Riser" raw water-cooled applications. Compatible engines include the 350 MAG, 357 MAG, 383 MAG Stroker, 4.3L, 5.0L, 5.7L, and 6.2L V-6 and V-8 MerCruiser configurations using 7° or 14° risers.
