Quicksilver 864929A1 3-Inch Dry Joint Exhaust Riser Extension Kit for MerCruiser V6 V8 Raw Water Cooling

The Quicksilver 864929A1 is a genuine OEM 3-inch (76 mm) dry joint exhaust riser extension kit designed for MerCruiser stern drive marine engines. This spacer kit mounts between the exhaust manifold and elbow to add critical height to the exhaust riser, reducing the risk of water backflow into the engine through the exhaust system — a leading cause of hydro-lock damage in inboard and stern drive applications.

Engineered specifically for standard (raw water) cooling systems with dry joint exhaust manifolds, this kit is a direct OEM replacement that meets Mercury Marine's exacting fit and finish standards. Cross-reference part numbers include 864929A 3 and 864929A 4 variants depending on cooling system configuration.

Kit Includes:

• 2 × 3-inch (76 mm) exhaust riser spacers (Part #864929)
• 2 × Riser gaskets — closed (Part #27-864850A1)
• 2 × Riser gaskets — open (Part #27-864547A1)
• 8 × Mounting screws (Part #10-865982077)
• 1 × Mounting bracket (Part #863714T)

Key Features:
